the next step…

It’s been 90 days since I stepped foot in London. We now live in a small little two bedroom flat on the west side of town. It has been a crazy three months of settling, if you can call it settling.

Month 1 – Glastonbury, sleeping on partner’s sister’s floor, moving about between hotels and temporary accommodation, sick as dogs, house hunting, started new job.
Month 2 – Found housemates also family friends, more house hunting, more moving, working, found apartment, move in, partner moved to Sheffield for training, birthday parties, lots of drinking.
Month 3 still going – Travelling between Sheffield and London, partner still in Sheffield, Olympic park tour, London Design Festival, London Open House, settling, working.

You get the idea.

London is such a fabulous city. Everything is happening here. One just can’t do everything in a day.
I love the fact that I am here and am having a chance to get to choose what to go to.

There is an exhibition at Gimpel Fils on Corinne Day‘s work.
Her famous sitter for her photographs is none other than Kate Moss.

I am hoping I will get to catch this before the end of this month! If you are in London, do catch it before the 1st of October!

For now, let’s get this work week over and done with.
